Ashtanga Yoga is an ancient, dynamic system of Yoga that unites synchronization of the breath with progressive series of postures (asanas). Breath connects the body with the deeper levels of the mind. With a practice one gets the ability to slowly control the breath, which leads to the rest of the mind and the withdrawal of the senses (pratyahara). Thoughts become slow and every movement flows gently and precisely from posture to posture. When the breath and movement flow without effort in perfect harmony, Ashtanga Yoga practice transcends the mind and evolves in meditation in motion. This process frees the intensive body heat and profuse, cleansing sweat that detoxicate muscles, organs, mind... The result is improved circulation, a light and strong body and peaceful mind. In Ashtanga Yoga system philosophy is very simple: "Practice, practice, practice and all is coming!!!". |
